Witnessing something so grand and magnificent
gently washes away all the little things
that I’ve been thinking about and allows me to just be me.
🌳
I hope the photos bring you some good energy too!

Close up of some of my newly fired pieces
🙂(A plate)

What I love about ceramics is that
I get to witness and experience the amazing natural forces
that is beyond human’s control.
Every time I open my kiln there’s a happy surprise.
✨
Seeing the fired works makes me realize that
each of us is just a tiny part of this big natural world.
Sometimes you just need to let go of
trying to control everything and instead,
allow things unfold naturally.

After spending some time purely focused on creation,
it made me wonder if each person has something
like a cloud above their head which is
a never-ending source of ideas waiting to join the ‘real’ world.
⛅️
I was receiving ideas ceaselessly from that cloud
and my only work was to express them
in whatever way that felt comfortable.

制作に集中していると、
人の頭の上にはアイデアの宝庫である
大きな大きな雲が浮いているように感じました。
その雲からとめどなく流れてくるアイデアを受け取り、
自分なりに表現するのが仕事かなと思いました。
